Russian PM Dmitry Medvedev resigns to support Putin’s power shift plan


Russian Prime Minister Minister Dmitry
Medvedev has announced that he’s government is resigning to pave the way
for President Putin to carry out his constitutional change the Prime Minister
submitted resignation on Wednesday shortly after Putin announced he’s
planned to shift some power between the presidency and Parliament in televised
remarks Medvedev will take up a new position as a deputy head of the
Presidential Security Council that’s what Putin said the Kremlin said
Russia’s text service chief Mihiel Misha stone has been appointed as the new
prime minister some watchers say the move is designed to allow Putin to
extend his rule of Russia
